Dr. Randleman attended Samford University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science with Honors. He then received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine before completing his General Surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. After that, Dr. Randleman received Cardiovascular Surgery fellowship training at Emory University. Since founding Varicosity Vein Center, Dr. Randleman has performed over 16,000 procedures, established more than 60 vein centers as departments of hospitals and trained over 300 physicians and clinical providers. In addition to his certification in cardiovascular surgery, Dr. Randleman is also certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.

Dr. Scott Pennington is a board-certified general surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons who serves as one of the physicians at our Auburn and Montgomery Varicosity Vein Center facilities. After graduating from Vanderbilt University, he attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham for medical school. After completing an Internal Medicine residency at UAB, he completed a General Surgery fellowship at the Birmingham Baptist Health System. Dr. Pennington has provided patients at the Montclair and Grandview Hospitals compassionate care for over 35 years. He and the skilled staff at Varicosity Vein Centers are committed to treating venous illness.

Dr. Tracy Lowery is Board Certified in Vascular Surgery who serves as the medical director and lead physician at Best Vein Care of Huntsville. Dr. Lowery earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his fellowship training at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Dr. Lowery has provided vascular care for more than 30 years and has been solely dedicated to the field of Phlebology, the treatment of venous disease, in the Huntsville area for the past 10 years. Since that time Dr. Lowery has performed thousands of vein treatment procedure and is one of the most experienced venous physicians in North Alabama.

Dr. Joshua Wilensky is certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine and the American Board of Vascular Surgery. Dr. Wilensky obtained his Bachelor of Science with Highest Honors from Washington University and his Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University. After completing his residency in Vascular surgery at the University of Arkansas, he served as the Medical Director of Reid Health's Vascular Surgery department. Dr. Wilensky is currently one of our leading surgeons at the Varicosity Vein Center facility in Ridgeland.

After graduating magna cum laude of Birmingham-Southern College, Dr. Tapscott completed a general surgery residency at the Baptist Health Systems of Alabama(BHS) - Princeton and Montclair Hospitals where he received the Hugh Linder Award as the outstanding surgical resident during his chief year. After residency, Dr. Tapscott was appointed as the Associate Program Director for the BHS General Surgery Residency Program. He was elected to the Board of Directors for the Jefferson County Medical Society and served on the society's Medical Ethics Committee. Dr. Tapscott has been in private practice general surgery for 26 years at the former Baptist-Montclair Hospital and most recently Ascension-St. Vincent's Hospital-Birmingham. He has expertise in venous disease and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, as well as experience in the treatment of chronic venous stasis wounds during his tenure at the Ascension-St. Vincent's Advanced Wound Center.
Wendy earned a BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from UAB in 1999. She graduated from UAB's Surgical Physician Assistant Program in 2002. In 2019, she earned a master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from UNMC. Cornelius is experienced in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery. She's led state and national organizations and hospital committees to improve healthcare and outcomes.
She was president of the Alabama Society of Physician Assistants (ASPA), chairman of continuing medical education, and on the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners PA Liaison Committee. She's a Distinguished Fellow Member of the Association of Physician Assistants in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (APACVS), where she mentors and teaches at CME conferences. She's a member of AAPA (AAPA). Wendy has been a clinical preceptor and PA Advisory Committee member at UAB and Samford University.
Amy serves as a PA at Best Vein Care of Huntsville. She graduated with Cum Laude Honors from Jacksonville State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from The University of South Alabama in 2011.
Amy has over 10 years of surgical experience in orthopedics and emergency medicine. As such, she brings a unique perspective to the treatment of venous disease. She has been a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Alabama Society of Physician Assistants (ASPA). She has been a clinical preceptor for PA students, NP students, and DO students. She is currently a member of American Vein and Lymphatic Society (AVLS).
Michaela earned a BS in Chemistry with a concentration in biochemistry from the University of Montevallo, where she was also a student athlete. She was named the University of Montevallo's Volleyball Team Captain and Female Scholar Athlete of the Year, while simultaneously serving the student body as the College of Arts and Sciences Senator.
After completing her undergraduate education with summa cum laude honors, she continued her education at Samford University, earning a master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) and graduating summa cum laude. While at Samford, Michaela played an integral role in establishing their philanthropic organization, PA’s for Brighter Days. She also served as a board member of the Community Outreach Program within Samford's PA program. She has experience in cardiology and molecular testing. Michaela is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Alabama Society of Physician Assistants (ASPA).
Amanda Cocilova, FNP-C, MSN, is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She holds her Registered Nurse First Assist Certificate from the National Institute of First Assist.
Amanda completed her Bachelors in Biology from the University of Mississippi and continued her education with obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. After working in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit at the University of Mississippi Medical Center for two years as a RN, she went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at Mississippi University for Women. Amanda worked as a NP and a surgical First Assistant in Orthopedic Spine Surgery in Mississippi for five years.
Amanda began working at Varicosity Vein Center in Alabama in July 2019 and has found her passion for caring for patients with vein and lymphatic diseases. With her clinical experience and operating room background, Amanda has a foundation for providing exceptional venous and lymphatic care to the patients at Varicosity Vein Center, as well as sclerotherapy.
